At PL Properties, we pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable; we aim to offer you an affordable costs with no hidden fees or unwelcome surprises.
Our fee structure is clear and simple, we do not mark up contractor prices or charge contractors for the work given to them, as this cost is inevitably passed onto the Landlord in the long run. We have access to a variety of contractors, but will always be more than happy to use a landlord's own contractor where this is preferred. Our Tenant Application Fees are some of the cheapest in Plymouth, and we believe in offering a fair service to both Landlords and Tenants.
All areas of the Lettings Service are dealt with in our Local, Plymouth office, and all the services in our Fully Managed package are included in the management fee; you will NEVER be caught out by hidden costs or additional fees throughout the course of the tenancy.
Our Service includes carrying out regular visits to the property, dealing with all aspects of maintenance including liaising with contractors to arrange quotes or works, liaising with tenants to arrange access, and issuing any required paperwork for accounting purposes including year end statements and monthly statements. We will deal with all End of Tenancy issues, including check-outs and deposits, and should you ever need to serve notice on your tenant we will arrange all paperwork to be drawn up and delivered in accordance with any current legislation.
We have a local team of friendly, helpful staff who will always be happy to speak to you regarding any query you may have. There are no call centers, no outsourced agencies, even our out of hours contact number is a personal mobile number to ensure a full personal service is guaranteed.

Monthly Management Fee: 10% + VAT
£480 (Inc VAT) Setup Fee (Includes 6 months FREE Rent and Legal Protection (if you don’t already have it) which will, subject to terms, pay you the full rent should the tenants default and also cover the costs to evict them as a result of non-payment of rent)
£48 (Inc VAT) Inventory Fee (If Required)
NO COST FOR monthly statements, end of year statements, contractor invoicing, property inspections and resulting letters.
YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED an additional fee when the tenancy becomes periodic at the end of the fixed term, or if a new tenancy agreement is issued to an existing tenant as an extension of the tenancy or as a way of removing/adding a tenant on the current agreement.
If an item is not listed above, it is probably FREE. We do not believe in charging for things that should be included in a monthly management fee.
